What is home teeth whitening?

We offer home teeth whitening kits because they offer excellent control. Over time, they’re just as effective as laser whitening and you can achieve the same striking results.

Is teeth whitening safe?

Teeth whitening is safe if it’s supervised by a registered dentist or specialist. It’s illegal for anyone else to provide teeth whitening treatments in the UK.

You can buy whitening products on the high street, but they are far less effective than professional whitening. They usually tackle surface stains and some work by ‘exfoliating’ your teeth, which can damage their protective enamel.

Will it make my teeth sensitive?

You may experience some sensitivity while whitening your teeth. Try switching to a sensitive toothpaste and whitening your teeth less frequently. Any sensitivity should quickly subside at the end of your treatment.

How long will the results last for?

The effects of teeth whitening are not permanent and can last anything from a few months to a few years. You can prolong your results by avoiding things that are likely to stain your teeth, for example red wine, coffee, and smoking.
