Specialist Orthodontist

Stephen graduated in Dentistry from University College Cork in 2010. He’s a worked in general dentistry practice in Scotland and as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery, Oral Medicine, Radiology and Paediatric Dentistry.

Stephen subsequently undertook specialist training in Orthodontics over 3 years in Newcastle followed by 2 year Consultant training in Birmingham.

Stephen is a Consultant Orthodontist in Guy’s and St. Thomas’ where he provides complex multi-disciplinary care for combined orthodontic-surgical patients and patients with missing teeth. In addition, Stephen is a clinical supervisor overseeing the training of postgraduate orthodontic specialist trainees. Stephen also works in a private orthodontic practice in central London and has published peer-reviewed research in a variety of international scientific journals.

Stephen’s areas of interest are in combining facial and smile aesthetics and is an accredited provider of the Invisalign and Incognito appliance systems. He believes in supporting his patients to achieve their functional and aesthetic goals through caring and comprehensive orthodontic treatment.

Stephen is passionate about travel and all things adventurous. He has competed in both full and half marathons and triathlons throughout both the UK and Ireland. Stephen currently holds a British Parachute Association student licence and when not enjoying outdoor pursuits he enjoys reading and cooking.
