He then spent his time in General dental practice and developed his own multi-dental practice on the Ise Lodge Estate, Kettering from 1983 to 1993. He started gaining his orthodontic experience working as clinical assistant at Kettering General Hospital since 1982, and worked as an honorary consultant to 2018.
He started his orthodontic practice in 1993 located in Burton Latimer and later moved to Dryden Street and developed the specialist orthodontic multi-practice. He achieved his postgraduate orthodontic training programme at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. In 2000 he was awarded a Master of Science degree with distinction and a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England allowing him to be registered as a specialist orthodontist with the General Dental council.
Ghite was the principal of The Old School House Orthodontic practice. He presented his research project at the British Orthodontic Conferences and was a prizewinner.He is a mentor and supervises orthodontic training. He is a member of the Consultant Orthodontic Group and Orthodontic Specialist Group of British Orthodontic Society, British Dental Association, Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners at the Royal College of Surgeons and Asian Odontological Group. He also sits on the Local Northampton Dental Committee, Milton Keynes and Northampton Orthodontic Managed Clinical Network and the board of Portman Dental Care. He is a trustee of Kettering Old Grammar School Foundation and Chitrakoot Project (UK) looking after cleft care in India.
Outside work Ghite is very keen on travelling, sports, socialising, entertaining and is involved working with local charities. He is married to Amrit and they have five lovely children.
