Jigar Patel
Specialist Orthodontist and Consultant
Jigar Patel qualified in Dentistry from Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ Dental Institute in London. He undertook further postgraduate training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry, and Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry before specialising in Orthodontics.
He completed five years of full-time specialist and consultant orthodontic training at Birmingham Dental Hospital, during which he was awarded the British Orthodontic Society Medal for outstanding achievement and completed an MPhil.
Jigar is currently a part-time NHS Consultant Orthodontist at East & North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, where he manages complex multidisciplinary cases and provides specialist advice to hospital colleagues and referring practitioners.
He is proud to practice at both Specialist and Consultant level in Orthodontics, reflecting his extensive training, experience, and commitment to clinical excellence.
