She looked straight to higher learning and secured postgraduate orthodontic specialty training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. During this time Mrs Meadows gained her Masters in Orthodontics and the Intercollegiate Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2010 enabling her to enter the Specialist List.
Mrs Meadows went onto further training to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2012 allowing her to take the post of Consultant Orthodontist at Northampton General Hospital. She took this post for seven years with additional roles as Governance Lead and later Clinical Lead for the Maxillofacial Unit.
Currently Mrs Meadows is working as Lead Consultant in Orthodontics and Governance Lead for the Maxillofacial Unit at Kettering General Hospital (KGH) up to present day.
In addition to her post at KGH Mrs Meadows provides private orthodontic treatment in practices both at the Old School House and in Uppingham.
Within these settings she provides care for the most complex orthodontic concerns including combined oral surgery and orthodontics, cleft palate care, provision of aesthetic fixed braces (ceramic/metal), invisalign and mini screws (infinitas).
Mrs Meadows is part of the British Orthodontic Society, the Consultant Orthodontic Group, is external advisor for the LDC and Chairs the Local Orthodontic Committee. She attends the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire Clinical Effectiveness Committee and is an Educational Supervisor for Junior Dental Core trainees and an Orthodontic Registrar.
Mrs Meadows has presented her research at the British Orthodontic Conference and published articles in peer reviewed journals.
Outside of work she enjoys travel, sport and reading. She is married to John Meadows and has a young family.
