Sháne Coetzee
Orthodontic Therapist
My name is Sháne Coetzee. I qualified in Orthodontic Therapy in 2010 and been working with a number of different orthodontic appliance systems over the last 10 years.
My role is to follow and implement the prescriptions of a specialist orthodontist to follow the bespoke treatment plans for our patients. I find it very rewarding to see changes in the alignments of teeth during orthodontic treatment. My greatest accomplishment so far was to be able to work with a surgeon during a procedure called expose and bond to be able to gain access to an impacted tooth which is hidden under the gum.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a young daughter who keeps me very busy and entertained. We love spending time in nature.
