Dr Usman Qureshi qualified in dentistry from the University of Manchester before completing specialist orthodontic training at Queen Mary University of London and The Royal London Hospital in 2008. He was awarded an MSc in Orthodontics and achieved Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. During his specialist training, Dr Qureshi was also awarded the David DiBiase Prize for Clinical Excellence.
Dr Qureshi is a long-standing Clinical Lecturer on the postgraduate orthodontic training programme at Queen Mary University of London, where he has played a significant role in training over 100 orthodontic specialists. He is a key contributor to two nationally recognised UK orthodontic training courses, Straight Wire Today and Functional Appliances: A Critical Appraisal, sharing his extensive clinical expertise with orthodontic trainees.
Alongside his teaching commitments, Dr Qureshi maintains an active involvement in clinical research at QMUL and has contributed to a number of internationally published clinical research trials.
Dr Qureshi is a member of the World Federation of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the British and European Orthodontic Societies.
